The Dig Angees are a 3 piece band from Des Moines, Iowa. The trio was founded in 2005 by life-long friends, Brenton Dean and Steven Rood, while they were seniors in high school. It grew to 3 with the addition of Ambrose Ball-Harney in the winter of 2005. The group started playing shows shortly after, and their surfy sound caught local attention. They started bringing in large crowds in a short period of time, proving to Des Moines that they're in this for the long haul.

The group has now been together for 3 years, and have quite a bit to show for it with their newly released, self titled album released this summer, a successful midwest tour, and an amazing performance at this years inaugural 80/35 Music Festival.

They are currently finalists in the LG Rally For Music competition, a national online "Battle of the Bands" competition. They will be traveling to New York City on September 4th to play a live show and compete against the other 3 finalists for the chance to win $15,000. Visit www.rallyformusic.com for more details.
